Now I understand why we must blog ever day. I can't remember much of yesterday. I know we played the name games adding gestures for everything. Nikki Tores was lots of fun to have with us. I am so glad she got to share all her wise Shakespeare wisdom with us. Yesterday the friday cast got our turn to block I was very happy to get on my feet. We ended on the wonderful question game. Lots of fun and laughs.
AND today! This I do remember. Nikki Tores showed us different ways to use our bodies and movement to express our character on stage. This was lots of fun, and I got completely worn out from all the running around we did. We also got to experiment with our lines and different ways to say the words in our lines. I now have so many tools to use when doing character work I am so excited about putting this all into action soon.
Then after lunch friday cast went out into the lobby and worked what we blocked yesterday. Shout out to Connor Bayne, a very wonderful Princess, Dull, Dumain, and Moth. Then we came back in and watched the saturday cast. Gosh we are the most disruptive audience ever. I hope I never have to perform in front of all of that. Although it was very entertaining to be in the middle of. Baby touching, Ingrid Michaelson dance with Lindsey :), and Evan's laughing to the point of crying are just a few of the disruptive behaviors.
We again ended with the question game, and Chloe conquering. What a surprise, we were all going to bet on Courtney.
First week down, and another two left to go!
Thine, in all compliments of devoted and heart-burning heat of duty,
Norah Frances Moran
