Wow. Today was pretty great. I had so much fun experimenting with "street laban" under the guidance of Nikki Tores. I found it extremely interesting to consider the weight of movement since that concept seemed new to some of the viewpoints work I've done before. I did struggle a little bit in trying to apply it to my character. I feel like I need to ground myself more in the text before I can really start laying down a physicality. Other than that it was just really cool and exciting.

As Chloe stated before me, I actually wasn't bored with the blocking. I think I just felt more ready for it and really made an effort to stay committed to watching the other cast. Watching George not realize his fly was open and Chloe drawing in my script probably helped too. The final round of question game was INTENSE! I apologize to Courtney for possibly teaching her some new naughty words and basically resorting to sex for my final turn. On Monday, perhaps I will be able to rise above final three!

I had a great Friday, and it has been a great week. There were ups and downs but we're really accomplishing a great deal. Next week should start the rain of theatre gurus, which I am looking forward to as usual! Keep up the good work everybody! Memorize em' lines! See ya Monday!
