Okay now for today! There are several reasons I love STC, as well as the people (Ian included) and all the laughs we get from them, I learn a lot about acting an theatre. The exercises we did today with the objects and people to make interesting pictures were great and so much fun. I have done it before but I wasn't paying much attention or just forgot it all shortly after, because I didn't remember the ways to make something more powerful then others, and it was very fascinating to me. Then there's the breathing exercise which I have a hard time with. I don't meant that I have a hard time breathing, just controlling my breathing, even when lying on my back. The other thing was lining up and projecting our voices with "to be or not to be, that is the question." I believe it was a combination of the difficult line and the fact that I was so nervous on the second day, but last year I remember I completely bombed that, if that's even possible. I couldn't get the line and Ian kept telling me to be louder and breath more. I did it multiple times before, I remember that Ian just told me to say my name. Well anyway it felt really great to get it this time on the first try. This is one sign that shows how I have progressed as an actress since last year.
This is already getting quite long so I won't say much more. Just that it was nice to get to read through my lines today with my cast. Although it is very funny how Dylan can't seem to say his lines standing still and I look up suddenly to find that he crossed the circle and was standing in front of me. I am also so excited to start blocking tomorrow! Another great day of STC done and and 17 days left (or 18 depending on how you look at it).
Until next time,
