The Man

Yes I just realized my title is awkward. No I am not going to fix it because it amuses the ten-year-old inside me. However a disclaimer seemed appropriate.
With regards to Armado, I'm surprised at how easy it is to get into character. I thought it would be a great stretch, and yet my fantastical nature just wants to burst out. Well, I have discovered my inner Spanish lover. We all have one just dying to escape.
The exercises of the morning were good fun, and I'm glad the vocal work reconnected me with my inner James Earl Jones and got me ready for my voice lesson tonight. During the read-through in addition to the actual reading-through it was nice to teach George the Dylan/Chloe/Julia version of musical chairs. It got pretty exciting for a minute- I almost had to break out the inhaler.
All in all I enjoyed the second morning even better than the first, loved trying my hand at Armado, and can't wait to get the show on its feet in order to release the flamboyant, balletic moves of my inner man.
Regards,
Chloe
