Hey all,
So today was a big shakespeare day, which is always a blast, Ian brought to my attention many aspects of the shakespearian language that i had forgot (such as thesis and antithesis). The monologue was interesting, it took us quite a while to get through the first eight lines. but now that we have to 'Toys' to work with, maybe we can finish it quickly tommorow. In all honesty, I did not like all the yelling that went on with the 'howling', I prefered a more intimate aproach that matched lear's age. But when I say that i'm not trying to put anyone down. Every person aproaches a role differently after all =). Observing the first 13 pages unfold on stage was tedious, but neccecary. Can't wait to try it myself tommorow.
